Hotel du Vin – Wimbledon

This 18th Century house was privately owned until the 1940s when it was sold to Wimbledon Borough Council. The gardens were opened to the public and the house was used as a nursing home, for a short time.

In the 1980s the house was first converted into a hotel. More recently, Hotel du Vin have developed the property and turned it into a luxury boutique hotel. This is where we came in!
